For this year’s EuroShop MBA will showcase sound absorbing walls, innovative surface coverings and entire cities from wall systems - MBA is a developer, manufacturer and distributor of sustainable modular walls, Structure space systems and self-adhesive surface coverings.

The manufacturer of modular wall panels presents groundbreaking innovations for exhibition and museum environments at this year's EuroShop in Dusseldorf. Modular walls that enhance, rather than diminish, the individual creativity of designers and architects.

Mila-wall Acoustic

Mila-wall Acoustic is the latest format of the successful Mila-wall system. It sets new standards and combines corporate aesthetic design with a significant improvement in acoustics. Exhibitions and museums can integrate this new panel simply and easily into their existing Mila-wall configurations. Visually, the new acoustic walls hardly differ from the traditional panels, but significantly improve the acoustics. Compromises in design for the sake of soundproofing solutions are a thing of the past. Mila-wall Acoustic has been developed in close collaboration with the renowned Fraunhofer Institute IBP and has achieved outstanding values in acoustic tests.

Sustainability and individuality in modular partitions

Exhibit builders, architects and businesses are always looking for the unique exhibit booth to stand out from the crowd. Often these designs are created and disposed of after a single use. Mila -wall allows for the same creativity and flexibility necessary in a unique exhibit, with the added benefit of being used over and over again. That flexibility was apparent in the event "City Talk". Within the framework of an architecture competition, five agencies each designed a metropolis with its significant characteristics. MBA’s mila–wall was used for this purpose. At EuroShop, MBA presents three of these unique installations and takes visitors on a little trip around the world. Budapest staged the bathing culture of the Hungarian capital - with sensuous ornamentation and a roof structure in Art Nouveau design. The Copenhagen installation hints at the Danish flag. In Istanbul, visitors will find moving light and sound in a fully mirrored domed room with Turkish ornaments. "These walk-in sculptures reflect the variety of design options with Mila -wall," says MBA Director, Markus Militzer. To enjoy the unique impressions of these installations, without the bustle of the trade show, MBA will hold an evening event on February 17, 2014 in Hall 09, Booth E04 and invites all interested parties to attend.

New Surface Coverings

Another innovation that MBA presents at EuroShop is new surface coverings. Five new offerings in “fine linen look” and “high-gloss” will be presented. Like all MBA surface coverings, the new offerings are also self-adhesive and scratch resistant.
These diverse surface designs allow you to renew Mila-wall wall modules again and again. The design choices are almost limitless and the walls can be assembled each time in new variations. Thus, in the long run, Mila-wall helps to save costs and resources.

EuroShop

EuroShop is the world's most important trade fair for the international trade world. More than 2,000 exhibitors from 50 countries present to more than 100,000 trade visitors from 93 countries. EuroShop 2014 is once again divided into four areas. Within the EuroExpo area, professionals from international exhibit builders and event organizers are addressed. New ideas and concepts for exhibition booth construction and design are presented here.

Success with an invisible product

The company MBA was founded in 1975 and quickly became the market leader in the manufacturing of modular panels for exhibitions and museums. Since 1987, MBA has had a subsidiary in Exton, Pennsylvania (USA), providing product and services to the U.S. market.

Many exhibit builders have been working with the Reutlinger company for nearly 20 years, some still using first generation mila-wall. "For us, this is of course a distinction in terms of durability," says Mr. Militzer proudly.

Items that were designed with the Mila -wall modules can be found in all major trade shows and visitor attractions, such as the IAA. Select examples can be viewed on the manufacturer's website .
Some of the most prestigious museums in the world use mila-wall. The Louvre in Paris, the Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, the Palais des Beaux Arts in Lille, the Art and Exhibition Hall in Bonn, the Film Museum in Potsdam and the Technical Museum in Vienna show their exhibits on the basis of MBA - wall modules.

Mila-wall - freedom of design, aesthetics and durability

In 1990, the MBA module mila-wall was used in the gallery exhibition ART in Frankfurt. The simple display system with no visible connection technology set a new aesthetic standard for the presentation of exhibits. The pure, timeless design of Mila -wall has won numerous international design awards. The modular panel is characterized by its high durability combined with almost infinite flexibility, design freedom and aesthetics.
Another advantage of mila-wall is its height. The maximum height of a single wall is four meters. Stacked, they can be built up to six meters in height.
While other systems have to be thrown away after a single or only a few uses, Mila -wall can be rebuilt several times and redesigned. This protects not only the environment but also pays off monetarily. "Our customers use the modules more than once because they can always be combined in new ways," explains Markus Militzer, managing director and chief designer of MBA. Due to the removable surface coverings, completely new designs can be realized.
