Grapevine resort has raised $280,000 over last four years, allowing 188 young people in North Texas to receive much needed mentors.
Online PR News – 22-January-2014 – Irving, Texas – Big Brothers Big Sisters announced that $94,160 was received through Great Wolf Lodge’s Community Days Fundraiser in Grapevine, Texas. Local families and special interest groups such as Mom’s Day Out were able to purchase individual tickets at $20 each to enjoy the resort’s 80,000 square foot indoor water park from Labor Day Weekend through the second week in December.
Big Brothers Big Sisters has received $280,000 over the last four years through the partnership with Great Wolf Lodge. In total, 4,708 day passes were sold during the 2013 fundraiser allowing 188 young people to receive much needed mentors. Great Wolf Lodge’s Community Days Fundraiser provides families and individuals an opportunity to do something they enjoy, while helping Big Brothers Big Sisters mentor more young people facing adversity in the 106 counties it serves throughout Texas.
Admission to the indoor water park is exclusive to resort guests, however, Great Wolf Lodge provides Big Brothers Big Sisters with a limited number of water park day passes to sell for this unique fundraiser.
