Online PR News – 16-January-2014 – Washington, DC – Senior65 today announced the launch of their new mobile friendly website, Senior65.com (https://www.senior65.com), to help seniors quickly navigate Medicare and Medicare Insurance online. Senior65 is also creating one of the first online Medigap applications.

Senior65’s site ends the current laborious process of Medicare and Medicare Insurance enrollment. By creating one of the first online Medigap application of its kind, Senior65 will allow seniors to enroll without delay into a Medicare Supplement insurance plan.

Senior65 has solved the tedious experience most seniors have with the 152 page official Medicare and You booklet. The company has done this by refining the key steps to medicare into an easy to navigate website with real time quotes. While there are currently some Medicare-related online tools available, Senior65 believes this entire process should be done online in a fraction of the time.

Senior65 Offers Technology Solutions Seniors Have Been Waiting For
Senior65 has created a single place for Americans turning 65 to:

1. Learn how Medicare works (including when and how to sign up),
2. Get competitive insurance quotes and
3. Sign up for supplemental plan if desired.

The new website is designed to work on a desktop, laptop, tablet or even a smartphone. CEO, Eric Scheinbaum pointed out, “It’s a myth that seniors are technophobic and want to do everything in-person or on-paper. Our customers have spent the last 20 years working on computers and expect to navigate Medicare online as well.”

In addition to providing step-by-step guides and real-time insurance quotes, Senior65 is working with one of the major insurance carriers in California to create one of the first online Medigap applications. Co-founder Chris Mihm stated, “We were shocked when we first found out that the industry standard was paper applications. We asked insurance providers why they don’t offer online solutions and one company responded that ‘seniors preferred paper.’ We know that is not the case.” The team has completed an easy online application and is integrating it into a real-time quote engine. They are now contacting other providers to move more applications online.
