Attracting attendees from all aspects of the reconfigurable radio value chain, SDR-WInnComm is the ideal place to network and make an impact on the advanced wireless radio community

Online PR News – 14-January-2014 – Washington, DC – The Wireless Innovation Forum (www.WirelessInnovation.org), a non-profit international industry association dedicated to driving the future of radio communications and systems worldwide, announced open registration for its Conference on Communications Technologies and Software Defined Radio (SDR-WInnComm 2014).

Attracting attendees from all aspects of the reconfigurable radio value chain, SDR-WInnComm is the ideal place to network and make an impact on the advanced wireless radio community. It will take place 11-13 March 2014 at Motorola in Schaumburg, Illinois.

The event also provides the opportunity to build relationships with industry leaders that can transition technology from the lab into successful products.

As the only event devoted to advancing innovation in spectrum access and radio technologies from research through deployment, this is the premier venue to network with and learn from the leading innovators in the advanced wireless market to gain a functional knowledge of relevant emerging opportunities and technologies. The event features three days of keynotes, tutorials, technical papers, workshops, a product exposition and more.

"WInnComm is an excellent place for academics to meet industry leaders to understand their critical problems and to present research ideas to leaders that can implement their ideas," said Dr. Jeffrey Reed of Virginia Tech. "The event also provides the opportunity to build relationships with industry leaders that can transition technology from the lab into successful products."

This year's keynotes include:
• Vanu Bose, Vanu, Inc.
• John Chapin, DARPA
• Johanna Dwyer, Federated Wireless LLC
• Greg Ennis, Wi-Fi Alliance
• Bruce Fette, DARPA
• Dennis Roberson, Illinois Institute of Technology

Workshops featuring leaders in the industry from Google, NASA, DARPA, WiFi Alliance, and more, include:
