No one wants to think about, let alone talk about the end of life. A new website; www.FuneralPre-Planning.com was created by a Funeral Pre-Planning Specialist in Albuquerque, to help New Mexicans understand pre-planning and get the conversation started.
Online PR News – 02-December-2013 – Albuquerque, New Mexico – Imagine for a moment planning for a vacation or a wedding on the day of. It would be very stressful and a great financial burden. That's what we experience when we don't pre-plan for death. It is the one thing in our lives that is for certain and since we don't know when, we should be ready.
Like most, families are left unprepared when they lose a loved one and pre-planning is truly a gift for your loved ones.
WWW.FuneralPre-Planning.com was created by Barbara Shelton, a licensed New Mexico life insurance agent who specializes in Funeral Pre-Planning. The slogan, “Let’s Talk About What No One Wants To Talk About” is to help people get the conversation started, understand how pre-funding removes the financial burden from family when having to pay for funeral expenses at the time of death, and when you assign a funeral home in advance, you lock in today’s prices. As a Family Service Counselor Barbara meets with families and works with them to figure out an affordable option that fits within their budget. The insurance company she represents offers payment plans of 3, 5 or 10 years.
The website provides resources and links about Social Security Benefits, Medicaid and information about Wills and Living Wills to help people understand the importance of having things in place. An informative page for Veterans and their families was also created to help them understand what is available including links to the Veterans Administration and National Cemeteries as most Veterans don’t realize that the funeral and the services of the funeral director and staff are not included in their burial benefits.
Life experience is why Barbara got into pre-planning. You can read her story on the shared stories page of the website. With so many stories of families who have had to fund-raise because they can’t afford to pay for the services; she has made it her mission to educate and assist people in New Mexico with pre-planning, because it just makes sense.
If you have considered pre-planning and were just not sure what to do or how to get started, visit the Pre-Planning New Mexico page on the website http://www.funeralpre-planning.com/pre-planning-new-mexico.html to learn more and to contact Barbara for her assistance.
