Virtual Spectator launches Cricket Social Media site aimed at grass roots clubs

Virtual Spectator, the company responsible for all scores and graphics for Channel 9 Australia's coverage of international cricket, today launched an ambitious project to build a global cricket community and simultaneously raise much needed revenue for clubs at all levels.

Online PR News – 22-November-2013 – London/United Kingdom – Launching during the Ashes tour of Australia was a logical choice said Peter Lamb, CEO of VS Europe. The network enables every club to have its own page where fans and players alike can interact. In addition all international teams are represented.

In the case of the club pages, any revenue generated through advertising will be split 50/50 with that particular club. In this way, all clubs no matter how small can approach local businesses to support them. The business will get their ad shown on the club page and the club will benefit from ad revenue. It's a win/win situation and ads can be purchased on club sites for as little as £10 per month.

During the Ashes, a Virtual Spectator pundit will be providing expert comments and it is hoped to get commentator and possibly player involvement also.

Anyone is welcome to join and start to interact with cricket lovers the world over.
