The staff of Sales Rain BPO raised 100,000Php from portions of their daily commissions to extend help to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in Tacloban.
Online PR News – 21-November-2013 – Quezon City – In its continued efforts to give back to the community, Salesrain BPO donated the sum of 100,000 PHP to the Philippines Red Cross to help in their efforts to aid the victims of the recent tragic devastation caused by Typhoon Yolanda earlier this month.
Ms. Jhenilyn Panganiban, Red Cross Project Coordinator In-charge of Quezon City Chapter, received the funds for the organization. Ms. Panganiban commented "Red Cross is thankful for the donation which would be a big help to attend medical, food, shelter and other emergency requirements suffered by Typhoon Yolanda Victims."
Mr Khan, Chairman of Sales Rain BPO commented, "We are deeply saddened by the event. Our prayers and well wishes go out to all the families that were affected by this calamity. I would like to thank Sales Rain staff for contributing one third of the amount from their sales commissions and leading the way. Despite the fact they need this money themselves to take care of their own needs, our employees once again proved Filipinos have big heart when it comes to helping others in need. I would like to thank our customers as well for giving us business and means to do our small bit in rebuilding the lives of affected people. Prayers are more powerful than anything else, and we hope that our fellow citizens can resume their normal lives very soon. We also hope that we will continue to help and support the people in need in future".
