Atlanta entrepreneur, nationally recognized speaker, and author Barry H. Spencer introduced Atlanta to the lead in Broadway’s The Phantom of the Opera, Sandra Joseph. Sandra Joseph opened the ceremonies at the 2013 Inductee Event into the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame.

Online PR News – 18-November-2013 – Atlanta, GA – On Saturday night, November 16, Sandra Joseph, who played female lead Christine Daae in Broadway’s The Phantom of the Opera for nearly a decade, opened the ceremonies for the 2013 Inductee Event into the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame.

Barry H Spencer, an Atlanta entrepreneur, introduced Sandra Joseph and interviewed her about her journey from Buicks to Broadway. As a young girl in Detroit, she did not grow up with special privilege or financial riches. But she discovered she had something far greater.

At eight years old, one night changed her life and future forever. The seed of a big dream – to be on Broadway - was planted in her heart.

Her family did not have special connections in New York or backstage passes to the biggest shows. But her father had something more valuable to give her – belief in her dream.

After much struggle and hardship, Sandra Joseph got the opportunity to play Christine Daae, the leading female role, in the Phantom of the Opera. She played the role longer than any female in Phantom history, nearly a decade.

As a little girl, she almost gave up her dream and in New York was within weeks of having to go back home due to a lack of resources. But she never gave up on her dream.

Now, as an entrepreneur off Broadway, she lives to share her story, inspire others to believe that their big dreams are possible, and share her world-class Broadway vocals with the world.

“I am so excited to introduce my friend, Sandra Joseph, to the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame guests and entrepreneur community. More than an amazing voice, Sandra is a genuine person with a passion for inspiring others to live big dreams that make a difference… And that is what being an entrepreneur is all about,” said Barry Spencer, who introduced and interviewed her at the 2013 Inductee Event into the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame.

Sandra’s story and performance at the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame Inductee Event was a powerful opening to the outstanding event that Mitch Schlimer, founder of the EpiCenter and creator of the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame, has put together to inspire young and old to believe their big dreams really are possible.

The Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame event celebrates the achievements of a select number of outstanding entrepreneurs every year. The purpose is to inspire future entrepreneurs to discover and live their dreams, making a difference in their communities.

On Saturday, November 16, at The Carter Center Library in downtown Atlanta, Sandra Joseph performed two songs from The Phantom of the Opera: “Think of Me” and the theme song. Sandra’s performance kicked off a motivating and encouraging event.
