Time Out Kuala Lumpur Wins "Best Magazine Website" in Asia

Online PR News – 18-November-2013 – Kuala Lumpur – 14 November 2013, Kuala Lumpur: Time Out Kuala Lumpur was last night crowned “Best In Online Media – Magazine Website” at the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN- IFRA) Asian Digital Media Awards 2013, held at KL’s Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur hotel.

Mongoose Publishing Sdn Bhd were awarded Gold for the www.timeoutkl.com website by a jury of 29 expert digital judges gathered from globally recognised media companies from around the world. WAN-IFRA are the global representatives of the world’s press and the Asian Digital Media Awards are the most prestigious recognition of outstanding work in the fields of online media and publishing.

The ceremony was held at Digital Media Asia 2013, WAN-IFRA’s annual digital conference, taking place this week in Kuala Lumpur. In 2012, www.timeoutkl.com achieved a Bronze Award in the same category but this year went even better thanks to a highly engaged platform that features a dynamic blog, original features, extensive listings, independent reviews, active social media channels, a free iPhone Application and an extremely user-friendly interface.

Time Out KL were the only Malaysian brand to receive a Gold Award in any of the nine categories, that were presented to more than 20 companies, individuals and publications in Asia-Pacific, South Asia and the Middle East.
