Druva Expands its European Channel with ASM Technologies

New distribution agreement adds Druva’s innovative data protection solutions to the portfolios of leading SIs and VARs across ASM Technologies’ European channel network

Online PR News – 14-November-2013 – 14th November 2013, London – ASM Technologies, the agile technology distribution company for the IT channel, has today signed a distribution agreement with Druva, the innovative provider of data protection solutions. Druva’s range of inSync products, an integrated suite of endpoint data protection and governance solutions that safeguards corporate information on desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones, are now available to UK & EU organisations via ASM Technologies’ extensive network of leading IT resellers.

ASM Technologies is a unique technology distribution company to the IT sector which helps Systems Integrators (SIs) and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) to consolidate their unruly supply chains. ASM achieves this by offering the IT channel access to a broad portfolio of over 800 manufacturers, vendors and publishers from over 2,500 suppliers through one single supplier interface and contract. By choosing to distribute its products through ASM Technologies’ unique agile distribution network over the more traditional single vendor-reseller relationship, Druva benefits from being able to offer its products directly to the best SIs and VARs in Europe from a single relationship, all through one contract with ASM Technologies.

“Druva has strong sales ambitions and our unique agile distribution model gives it the capability to reach many of the top resellers quickly and efficiently without having to negotiate and establish separate agreements with each one. For over two decades we have helped to raise the visibility of innovative new technologies by putting them in front of our channel customers who trust us to source new products they can use. We therefore choose our new supplier relationships very carefully. We are pleased to be making a real difference to Druva’s growth ambitions,” comments Irvin Shillingford, Software Channel Manager at ASM Technologies.

“With the proliferation of mobile devices, bring-your-own-device and the loss of security and accountability in today’s ‘post-PC’ world, every organisation runs the risk of being the victim of major data loss, theft or leakage,” said Steve McChesney, VP of Business Development at Druva. “Druva’s success to-date has been driven by its ability to solve this problem for some of the most demanding organisations in the world. In order to accelerate our success we have sought to establish relationships with some of the most strategic partners in the IT channel. ASM’s strong relationships with the leading players in the UK and European channel combined with its unique approach to channel development was a critical factor in our decision to partner.”

Druva’s new relationship with ASM Technologies is the first major channel partnership to be announced since Druva appointed Steve McChesney to launch the company’s channel programme as it transitions from a direct to an indirect sales model. McChesney’s appointment comes shortly after Druva successfully secured $25 million in series C funding for further development and marketing of the inSync platform. Druva’s clients includes the likes of NASA, Fusion-IO, DHL and Tivo.
