The largest awards ceremony for the UK construction industryâ€™s top companies and organisations is taking place in London on Friday November 15th November.
Online PR News – 13-November-2013 – London – The annual What House? awards is celebrating its 32nd year of recognising the best in UK house building. The awards ceremony is being held at the Grosvenor Park Hotel ballroom in London and recognises the highest standards and innovations in house building of new homes and developments during the year.
There are a total of 21 categories covering all aspects of house building and house building professionals from across the UK.
The awards also recognise sustainable house builders with the Sustainable Developer of the Year award that recognises sustainability and environmental innovations including energy saving appliances, sustainability in the community and low carbon initiatives.
The Best Brownfield Development award is also given to recognise developers who achieve inner city and urban renewal and regeneration either by regenerating existing housing stock or regenerating derelict brownfield urban sites.
The What House? Awards are the longest established construction awards in the UK. The annual event is regarded as a prestigious event in the construction industry year and it is attended by over 1400 key industry figures from the property and construction industry. Attendees to the event include house builders, estate agents, industry representatives, housing associations and construction suppliers from all corners of the UK.
Last yearâ€™s top award for the Housebuilder of the Year 2012 went to CALA Homes. Other award categories included Best Starter Home, Best Development, Best Partnership Scheme and Best Interior Design.
