Elizabeth Donovan Sees Prosperous Future for Chicago Area Agency

Online PR News – 05-November-2013 – Elmhurst, IL – Chicago based strategic marketing firm for top brands in the food industry, Foodmix Marketing Communications, has added Elizabeth Donovan to the team as SVP, Director of Business Development. Exuding energy and passion, Donovan joins the agency with impressive experience shepherding notable brands and fostering successful business relationships between agency and client. At Foodmix, she will lend her expertise to manage the Foodmix brand, lead the agency in new business pursuits and develop valuable revenue streams for the future growth of the company.

Donovan joins the Foodmix team from Energy BBDO where she served as the Director of Business Development, driving growth efforts and initiating relationships with clients including SC Johnson, Frito-Lay, Pearle Vision and Quaker. “Foodmix allows me to step into an entrepreneurial role and make a real contribution to the evolution of a brand that has demonstrated a true commitment to growth,” Donovan said. “This brand is in a very exciting development stage and I am pleased to join a solid, strategic team with a profound appetite to take the brand and its clients forward in exciting new ways.”

Prior to Energy BBDO, Donovan has held senior level account management positions at a number of agencies around Chicago including JWT, Grant/Jacoby, Eisaman, Johns & Laws. Donovan has been in advertising over two decades gaining extensive account management and media experience across a portfolio of brands including everything from Kraft, Bayer, Wrigley, Searle Pharmaceuticals, Old Style and Head Racquets to Fidelity Investments, LaSalle Bank, Ciroc Vodka and Peoples Energy. In addition to business acumen, Donovan brings with her a deep rooted passion and familiarity with the food industry gained through her family’s fine wine & spirits retail shop, The House of Glunz, which was established in 1888 by her great-grandfather.

“Elizabeth helps round out a strong management team and will play an instrumental role in taking Foodmix to the next level,” Dan O’Connell, founder and CEO of Foodmix said. “She understands the importance of putting our clients’ brands everywhere they need to be, and her passion for food coupled with her brand building expertise will serve both our brand and our clients’ brands very well.”
