APT-RWM Iron Man Poker Challenge Set to Break a Guinness World Record in December

The Asian Poker Tour-Resorts World Manila Iron Man Poker Challenge this December 11-15 will feature a Main Event tournament aimed at breaking the current Guinness World Record for the Longest Continuous Poker Tournament.

Online PR News – 04-November-2013 – Manila, Philippines – The Asian Poker Tour (APT) and Resorts World Manila (RWM) will stage the APT-RWM Iron Man Poker Challenge this year, December 11-15 which will feature a Main Event tournament aimed at breaking the current Guinness World Record for the Longest Continuous Poker Tournament set in Delaware, USA that lasted 36 hours, 34 minutes and 41 seconds.

In addition, this five day special event will feature a full calendar of side events as well as satellites for the US$ 700 APT-RWM Iron Man Poker Challenge. Only 250 seats will be allotted for this record attempt with registration open until the start of Level 7. Based on 250 entries this event will be paying to 18 places, with the last man standing bagging close to US$ 40,000. As a stipulation for the record, the tournament continues nonstop; there will be no scheduled breaks except for table redraws. After the close of registration and the number of entries has been confirmed, the official prize pool will be posted to where no deals or alterations can be made to the prizes, until a champion is crowned.
