Auriga appoints Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Karl DiMascio to assist with rapid expansion of data, ICT and security consultancy

A Professional Security Services specialist with significant experience in the development of new business, strategic alliances and partnership programmes, DiMascio brings to the role a wealth of knowledge in information security and cloud strategy. Able to draw upon extensive industry experience, DiMascio will further raise the profile of Auriga, while maintaining focus on the existing client base and exploiting new opportunities.

DiMascio joins Auriga having worked for numerous large security vendors where he has overseen the launch of new business entities to ensure Measurable Return on Investment (MOI). Most recently, he was the Managing Director for IntroSecurity Ltd, Managing Partner for Executive Risk Magazine and the Business Development Director for Atos within the UK Security Practice.

With twenty years experience in the information security industry, DiMascio is both well connected and highly respected. He has been invited on to the advisory boards of many Cyber Security related initiatives and associations such as the Professional Bodies Advisory Group to CESG, the Centre for Strategic Cyberspace and Security Science (CSCSS) Advisory Board and the International Systems Security Association (ISSA).

In his new role at Auriga, DiMascio will assist in the company expansion by taking its burgeoning range of services to market, exploring new opportunities and diversifying into other sectors. He will report to Managing Director, Louise T. Dunne.
