Sheffield Hallam University invites application for its January 2014 intake

Sheffield Hallam University, one of the UK’s largest universities has announced its January 2014 intake for 62 masters degree courses in the areas covering all Science, Arts, commerce. The university has also invited candidates to its Transform Together Scholarships Program.

During this intake, Sheffield Hallam will offer admissions to almost 62 masters degree courses in the areas of Tourism, Hospitality and events, Biosciences and chemistry, Oncology, Computing, Business and Management, Education studies, Engineering, among others. The university has strong links with industry and professional organisations, which will help develop students' knowledge along with excellent workshops and lab facilities.
The university is inviting applications to scholarships from well-qualified students through the Transform Together Scholarships Program. The awards consist of a one-year full tuition fee waiver for full-time, taught postgraduate courses. Students opting for MSc Web and Cloud Computing courses will also get a chance to secure a scholarship of £5,000. Successful applicants will be recognised with a certificate to mark their achievement at a scholarship ceremony following enrolment on their course. The deadline for scholarship application for January 2014 intake is November 1, 2013. Indian students are eligible for an automatic discount of £1,000 on their course fee across a wide range of subject areas - visit for full terms and conditions and eligible courses.
Speaking about the January 2014 intake and the scholarships offered, Sudha Mary Toppo, regional co-ordinator for South Asia based at the New Delhi office, Sheffield Hallam University, said, “The mission is to provide courses aimed at both practising professionals and recent graduates who wish to study for a higher qualification, while gaining relevant experience in these rapidly advancing areas. The courses offered during the January 2014 intake will focus on a wide range of sectors and the extensive industry exposure given to the aspirants during their course will provide them with immense opportunities after they graduate.”
The application form for the January 2014 intake can be downloaded from Sheffield Hallam's website or in person from the regional office in New Delhi. There is no deadline for submission but applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
