Some 800 children attended the carnival at Children's First Academy in Central Phoenix. Many stopped by the Angel MedFlight booth where the company's employees helped with first aid and handed out a large assortment of treats. Angel MedFlight team members also helped with food preparation, face painting, manicures and haircuts.
This was the fifth consecutive year Angel MedFlight has supported the Carnival for Homeless Children in Phoenix. Angel MedFlight's Roberto Antonio is a board member of the Hope Worldwide Phoenix chapter. "The carnival is a day that allows me to get that one-on-one touch that we are meant to have with others…you know it's going to be a long and difficult day, but it's going to be fulfilling," said Antonio.
