Grace Centers of Hope will host its inaugural “Masquerade for Hope” fundraiser Sat., Oct. 26, at the Orchard Lake Country Club,will raise funds for the Hope Hands of Hope Childcare Center, a facility that provides care and programs for children who are homeless.

Online PR News – 23-October-2013 – Pontiac, MI – PONTIAC, Mich., Oct. 21, 2013 – Grace Centers of Hope will host its inaugural “Masquerade for Hope” fundraiser gala on Sat., Oct. 26, at the Orchard Lake Country Club, 5000 W. Shore Dr., Orchard Lake. The event will be held from 6:30 to 10 p.m. and will raise funds for the Grace Centers of Hope Hands of Hope Childcare Center, a Pontiac-based facility that provides specialized care and programs for children who are the victims of homelessness.

“There are more than 9,000 homeless children under the age of six who are living on the streets in Michigan with roughly 1,300 children in Oakland County on any given night,” said Pastor Kent Clark, CEO of Grace Centers of Hope. “Unfortunately, there are far-reaching consequences for these statistics, including impairments for learning, behavior and both physical and mental well-being. We hope our Masquerade for Hope builds greater awareness about this tragedy while positively making a difference for so many innocent lives.”

The Masquerade for Hope will offer guests a signature dinner headed by Orchard Lake Country Club Executive Chef Marx Dixon CEC, a silent auction as well as entertainment provided by the Detroit Flyhouse Circus. WXYZ TV-7 reporter Heather Catallo will serve as emcee for the masquerade-themed event. The Grace Centers of Hope “Hands of Hope” Childcare Center is a state-licensed, 4,200 square foot facility that serves children of parents who are enrolled in programs at Grace Centers of Hope. The childcare center features three classrooms, two offices, a kitchen, snack and craft area, three bathrooms and an outdoor playground. The childcare center employs staff who are specifically trained to work with at-risk children, including programs available for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
