Rimo3 signs first channel partner, enters US market

Online PR News – 23-October-2013 – London – Application management company Rimo3, which launched last month, has signed its first channel partner: ConverterTechnology. ConverterTechnology, based in the United States, is a provider of software and services that help enterprises mitigate data risk when migrating documents and managing applications.

Under the agreement, ConverterTechnology will resell Rimo3’s products globally, with initial efforts focused on North America. Rimo3 views the US market as key: when the company launched, it set itself a goal of actively selling its software in the USA by Christmas.

Adrian Foxall, CEO of Rimo3 explains, “Our target market is medium- and larger-sized companies, and the US includes a high proportion of these organisations. ConverterTechnology has a strong reputation in the enterprise migration sector in the US and I believe it will help us to reach these key customers.”

Rimo3 sells uniquely through the channel and is looking for more partners both in the US and the UK. Foxall continues, “Since we launched, we have been continuing to develop our software solutions and to build a strong partner channel, particularly in the UK and the US. We are very encouraged by the feedback from potential partners who have seen our products and we are keen to create a solid partner channel within the next few months.”

Rimo3 gives organisations the tools to understand their entire application estate, helping them make informed decisions on which applications should be rationalised, which versions are compatible and compliance issues. Its products are proven to speed up migration projects, reduce licensing costs and enable efficient, long-term application portfolio management.

“IT departments may not have a full accounting of the applications installed on computers throughout the enterprise. Especially with BYOD, they may have lost visibility of the complete application estate,” said Shawn Allaway, CEO, ConverterTechnology. “Such challenges with can derail company-wide migration projects. With Rimo3, our customers will have a means to control, visualize, and manage their application estate from a single console that easily integrates into their existing applications. The end result should be not faster, simpler, more successful migrations that translate into bottom line cost savings.”

Currently Rimo3 offers three products:
Vision - an application analytics portal that integrates application data from IT systems and management tools – including other Rimo3 modules – and presents it in a single, easy-to-use console for analysis, reporting and decision-making.
Insight - an application audit tool that enables organisations to understand and monitor the usage profile of every application.
Evolution - a complete workflow and governance environment for large application estates. It allows organisations to understand where each application sits in its lifecycle, and to plan and manage application management projects effectively.
