Shannon – The World’s Greatest Beatles Artist recently delivered seven original paintings of the Beatles to be displayed at Oh My Godard Gallery in Atlantic City, NJ.
Online PR News – 11-August-2009 – – Atlantic City beach-goers and gamblers are in for an extra delight. As the summer draws to a close, there are several new paintings being exhibited at the Oh My Godard Gallery. The works of the world famous artist – Shannon have been added to their already extensive collection of fine art.
“The Godard Gallery feels ‘right’ ... It smacks of ‘cool’ and has a feeling of home for the artist that sets her own perimeters” says Shannon. “My flesh for fantasy mermaids and edgy versions of The Beatles, Marilyn Monroe, and Elvis Presley are potent here in fast paced world of Atlantic City. If these paintings were a handful of playing cards they would be a royal flush!”
Among the works Shannon has brought to the gallery are the ‘original’ four paintings from her “Seven Faces” collection. Each painting in the collection depicts either John, Paul, George or Ringo from childhood through 1980 with seven separate portraits in each picture.
Oh My Godard Gallery is owned by Michael Godard, known as the “Rock Star of the Art World". The Gallery is located at The Pier at Caesars Palace, Atlantic City, NJ 08401.
In 1997, the title of 'The World’s Greatest Beatles Artist' was bestowed upon Shannon by the Lord Mayor of Liverpool. Shannon was spent the last two years creating 110 paintings for the Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool. In August 2009, she will be the first non-musician to have her name added to the Cavern Wall of Fame in Liverpool.
