Kelly Lang & Barry Gibb will perform a duet together at the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday October 29th, 2013.
Online PR News – 16-October-2013 – Nashville, TN – Leopard Entertainment recording artist and acclaimed songwriter, Kelly Lang, announced today that she will perform on the world famous stage of the Grand Ole Opry with her friend, and music icon, Barry Gibb.
Lang and Gibb will perform as part of the Tuesday, October 29th lineup. Lang, a breast cancer survivor, is honored to perform during the Opry Goes Pink for breast cancer awareness month.
Barry Gibb of the multi-platinum, Nine-time Grammy award-winning group, The Bee Gee’s is a close friend of Lang’s. The two have performed on many occasions together throughout the years. Gibb and Lang became friends when they performed a duet together at a benefit for victims of the Nashville tornado several years ago.
Kelly Lang, who's career highlights include a sold out performance at the Ryman Auditorium, winning Star Search and performing on the stage at the Grand Ole Opry, has had her songs recorded by numerous artists including, Lorrie Morgan, George Jones, BJ Thomas, Ricky Skaggs, Jerry Lee Lewis, Crystal Gayle, The Oak Ridge Boys and many others.
