Fall Into Reading Book Sale And Jamboree Hosted By CrossReads

CrossReads.com is hosting Christian book sale and Jamboree with over 40 books. Readers can get books for 99 cents now through Friday, and then download free eBooks on Saturday, October 12th.

Online PR News – 11-October-2013 – McCordsville, IN – Founded by Staci Stallings, Shelley Hitz, and Heather Bixler, CrossReads is an online Christian community that helps authors and readers unite. One of the way they do this is through their group promotions. Every three months, they invite Christian authors of all genre's to sell their books for just 99 cents or even to give them away for free to help readers get access to clean books and save money at the same time.

The first group sale was in March of 2013, roughly one month after the site was launched, and had an amazing turn out. Their current sale is the, "Fall Into Reading Book Sale and Jamboree." The sale includes 40 books, all priced at 99 cents, now through Friday, October 11th. During the sale they are also hosting a giveaway for a $25 Amazon gift card. The winner of that gift card will be announced on Saturday during their Jamboree that features 9 free eBooks.

Many of the books in the sale were contributed by best-selling authors. Including, Staci Stallings, Shelley Hitz, Cliff Ball, and Laura J. Marshall. Other authors include Lynnette Bonner, Phyllis Sather, and Joy DeKok. Readers will find both fiction and non-fiction books when they visit the main page for the sale at: http://crossreads.com/fallintoreading/

Heather Hart manages these group promotions for CrossReads on a volunteer basis. She says that while they are a lot of work, they are very worth the effort. Hart is happy for a way to provide clean books for Christian readers. Hart also manages the website BooklyBooks.com which is a secular site dedicated to providing clean books for all readers. She said, "There are a ton of books out there, but no good filters. Half the time you don't know how graphic a book is until you've already made the purchase." Hart is hopeful that through both sites, readers will be able to feel safer downloading books.

The Fall Into Reading Book Sale ends at midnight on the 11th and will move straight into the one day Jamboree. Over 1,000 entries have already been submitted for the gift card.
