About the Scoggins Family: Chance and Jennifer Scoggins and their two tiny girls Jalen and Emmery are residents of the Nashville area. Chance is a professional musician, Jennifer a stay-at-home mom. With approximately $40,000 worth of repairs to make, the Scoggins’ do not qualify for conventional financial assistance from FEMA or other charitable organizations for various reasons. In addition, like most other families in Tennessee, they had no flood insurance. The music industry in Nashville was already weakened because of the economy; now it’s nearly devastated because of this disaster. As a result, “Angels Over Nashville” chose to adopt this family to receive direct proceeds from this event.
