A.Net Solutions Inc. extends congratulations to their client the Department of Commerce on winning the Bronze Medal Award for their Correspondence and Grants Notification System (GNS).
Online PR News – 11-September-2013 – Canada – The Department’s Office of the Secretary was awarded the esteemed Bronze Medal for successfully converting a legacy document and records management system, used for active correspondence management and processing grant awards, to a new Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS), employed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
"Our heartfelt congratulations to a great leadership team,” says Annette Noronha, President, A.Net Solutions Inc., “we certainly enjoyed working with them."
The new system is mission critical in terms of NOAA’s outreach to industry, academia, and other stakeholders. The new EDRMS manages millions of dollars of grants awarded to industry, universities, and local governments. The migration of the legacy system to the new EDRMS platform involved several terabytes of stored data and provided NOAA with consistent worldwide access.
