Learning content specialist Video Arts has launched a new video on demand (VOD) platform to help organisations meet the learning needs of a modern workforce by delivering video-based learning content anywhere and anytime.

Called ON>DEMAND, the new platform enables organisations to create and licence their own branded video channel, like a corporate iPlayer, with a personalised collection of video content. They can either licence the full Video Arts catalogue - which includes hundreds of soft skills training videos and clips in 40 languages - or they can handpick their preferred videos. Video Arts has also created specific video bundles, for use on the platform, covering subjects such as leadership, customer service, performance review and meetings.
Learners can search the licensed content and see recommended videos and the most-watched titles. They can instantly stream and watch their chosen videos on any device and operating system. The interface has built-in responsive design for optimal display on any PC, Mac, laptop, tablet or smartphone. Learners can also download their chosen titles to watch offline on a PC, Mac or laptop. Trainers can download video content to use in the classroom, create their own ‘custom’ video clips and target specific groups of learners with relevant content. They can also download facilitator guides and PowerPoint slides.
Organisations can even upload their own user generated content (UGC) to the new platform, so they can mix and match their own content with the Video Arts catalogue. Analytics and measurement tools capture who has watched what, and for how long, and this information can be transferred to a Learning Management System (LMS).

The new ON>DEMAND platform is available from Video Arts through an annual licence, depending on the level of customisation required and video content included.
