Hieroglifs Translations Romania participated in the Seminar for External Contractors Translating into Romanian
Online PR News – 10-September-2013 – Bucharest, Romania – Hieroglifs Translations Romania participated in the Seminar for External Contractors Translating into Romanian, organized by the Directorate-General for Translation of the European Commission from 4th to 5th July 2013 in Bucharest, Romania. The ever-increasing demand for quality translation for European matters is becoming a vital part of the language market in all the EU member states. Hieroglifs Translations, with its international representation, is not lagging behind. The seminar gave the participating parties a chance to get to grips with several aspects of providing external translation services to the EC. The two-day-long programme revolved around questions of quality management, freelance evaluation, outsourcing, the specific professional and linguistic requirements for EU translations, as well as the administrative and contractual side of such co-operation. The participants had the opportunity to meet with the representatives of the DGT in person and discuss any special issues that could be of particular interest to them. The event was held on the premises of the European Commission Representation in Romania, Bucharest. Hieroglifs Translations is proud to have been one of the parties invited to the event and it was our pleasure to meet both our colleagues and potential collaborators there.
