Online PR News – 10-September-2013 – St. Augustine/FL – The babymoon has become an uber-popular “let’s celebrate us while we can” staycation among parents-to-be. This St Augustine bed and breakfast invites expectant parents to celebrate the old life and the baby in their belly in the Nation’s Oldest City, St Augustine FL!

To facilitate that spoil-the-parents moment, the Bayfront Babymoon package at Bayfront Westcott House includes a specially-ordered, in-room mini fridge, stocked with water, soda, iced tea, and ice cream bars for those late-night cravings; chocolate-dipped strawberries on arrival; a bath goodies basket; a mini beer basket for the Dad-To-Be; extra pillows; breakfast in bed with nonalcoholic mimosas on the first morning; and an in-room, 60-minute prenatal massage.

Bayfront Westcott House, located on Avenida Menendez in St Augustine FL, was built in 1880 as a private residence for Dr. John Westcott who was well known for his prominent military career, interests in transportation and politics, and research efforts in the cause and cure of yellow fever. He was a land surveyor for the St. Johns Railroad (whose tracks spread from the San Sebastian River to Tocoi) and was a heavy hitter in the development of the Intracoastal Waterway that links the St. Johns River to Miami.
The house changed hands a few times over the years and saw its fair share of soirees amongst St. Augustine’s elite. In the 1970s, it was converted into a guest house and has been entertaining tourists and travelers ever since! Today, Bayfront Westcott House is a 16-room, full-service bed and breakfast. Every room has a private entrance. Most rooms have a Jacuzzi tub, electric fireplace, and outdoor sitting area.

Early risers feast on a slice of Heaven as they take in the bayfront sunrise, with all the sights and sounds associated. Each morning, there is a signature hot entrée and many scrumptious extras (served indoors and out). Complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, soda, and water are available throughout the day, and there is always some sort of sweet treat available in the dining room. A fantastic spread of hors d’ouevres is presented each evening. The exclusive (and popular) complimentary storytelling session Fact or Folklore happens every Monday and Wednesday from 6 to 7 pm and is hosted by a professional storyteller from Ancient City Tours. Guests enjoy hearing stories of St. Augustine’s colorful past (they likely won’t hear elsewhere) and decide for themselves whether fact or fiction!

For those who decide to actually leave the Inn and explore town, it is but a short walk from all that the historic district has to offer—breathtaking architecture and historic landmarks; museums and art galleries; and quaint and eclectic little shops; dozens of restaurants and street-side cafés; and so much more!

This St Augustine bed and breakfast will coordinate your every wish and spoil you every second.
