3rd Hyderabad Corporate Olympics to begin on 14th Sept 2013

The 3rd edition of Hyderabad Corporate Olympics, the biggest multi-sport event will begin on 14th Sept 2013.

Online PR News – 05-September-2013 – Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh – After the grand success in the initial 2 editions, the 3rd edition of the Hyderabad Corporate Olympics is back, this time with more sports disciplines. The current edition will commence on 14th Sept 2013 and will comprise of 18 sports disciplines.

The 2nd edition had participation from 77 corporate companies of Hyderabad & this edition will be much bigger with over 90 corporates expected to participate.

Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Pool Billiards, Volleyball (Men), Volleyball (Women), Throwball, Basketball 3on3 (Women), Tennisball Cricket (Women), Snooker, Soccer 6’s, Soccer Shoot-out (Women), Tennis, Chess, Carom, Table Tennis, Swimming & Tug of War were the disciplines that would be conducted this edition.

The sports activities would be conducted during the weekends without disturbing the work schedule of the corporate executives.

Gold, Silver, Bronze medals would be given to the winners in addition to the Gifts / Gfit Vouchers and the team with the maximum Gold medals at the end of the event, will be awarded the prestigious CORPORATE CHAMPIONS TROPHY which is currently held by Deloitte.

“The successful conduct of Hyderabad Corporate Olympics in 2011
and 2012 has prompted us to add more categories in Athletics and Swimming. In addition, we are introducing Soccer Shoot-Out for Women this year to encourage corporate women to take up soccer".

"In our 1st edition, we had participation from 53 companies which bulged to 77 in the 2nd edition. We are expecting over 90 corporate companies to take part in this edition. Any corporate company irrespective of the size of the company can enroll in this event".
