The product was developed as an extension of brand and dealer certification work that AVALA has developed over time.
According to AVALA CEO, Steve Pizzolato, “Measuring how a brand or dealer interacts with their customers is something we have done for years. Recently we added a digital certification process to evaluate the new way in which customers are engaging with the brand and their dealers. In an ever-evolving world where digital marketing is pervasive, the ability for companies to measure and monitor the effectiveness of their web, social media and email communication strategies is more vital than ever before.”
The digital evaluations, available to both manufacturers and individual dealers, are based on the survey feedback of a company’s consumers and digital fan base. This cross-section of the brand’s online audience is asked to provide feedback on their overall experiences with the brand or dealer’s website; how easy the website is to navigate; if the brand or dealer’s communications are relevant, interesting and informative; if the brand or dealer has responded promptly and helpfully to user comments; and more. At the end of the evaluation, the dealer’s overall digital CSI score is totaled on a “score card”, defined to pinpoint the strengths and weaknesses, and advice is offered to help improve the brand or dealer’s digital efforts. A brand or dealer’s score is then compared to industry leaders in the space in which the brand or dealer competes.
