What does the Day of Love Team and a Six Time Emmy Winner have in common? Education and grace. Connecting to forgiveness is a bold, but gentle, contribution. Both believe that, without the freedom to choose forgiveness, the human spirit suffers with shame and guilt.
Online PR News – 04-September-2013 – Simpsonville, South Carolina – Kellie Frazier, Inspired Creator of the Day of Love, knows firsthand how forgiveness can release pain. After suffering years of tragic loss, a traumatic brain injury, and the murder of friends, Frazier knew the only resolve was through forgiveness and grace.
The Day of Love (DOL) Core Team; Kim Beasley, Kelly Falardeau and Gail Blackburn, also practice forgiveness and grace regularly. Working closely together they are acutely aware that everyone has grown up with their own unique set of values and belief systems. They know, too, that there will be times when forgiveness is necessary to keep forging ahead in a mature way regardless of the situation.
Forgiveness, according to the Day of Love Team, must be a mature decision in love to sometimes accept an apology that was never given. The also teams believes that in mature wisdom from a loving God, you can forgive yourself for being in a situation that you will never receive an apology for. They believe it takes acceptance and forgiveness to move forward regardless of personal rights or personal injury.
Frazier says, “If we can’t forgive our spouses, children or ourselves, how can we forgive someone else who we don’t even know? God’s grace is sufficient for all. We need to remember that when people are hurt, anger is merely a symptom of un-forgiveness and nonacceptance and that hurting people hurt other people.”
“The movie, Project Forgive, is a grassroots movements and we’re looking forward to having Shawne Duperon on the show on Wednesday evening, September 18th, at 9 pm EST, to share more about that. Any time someone promotes forgiveness, along with God’s grace, the DOL is all for supporting it.”
