Independent UK Jeweller Victoria Barker creator of Jerboa Jewellery reaches out to 50 million TV viewers worldwide

Online PR News – 30-August-2013 – London – Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model have chosen Jerboa Jewellery by Independent London Designer Victoria Barker to provide the Photo Shoot challenge for the final five models featured in Episode 11, to be broadcast on Sky Living during August 2013.

Hosted by Elle Macpherson, the episode was shot by leading fashion photographer Joseph Montezinos in Harrison's Caves, Barbados, a breathtakingly beautiful, crystallised limestone cavern that perfectly complimented Victoria’s handcrafted statement jewellery.

Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model is shown in the UK on Sky Living, CBS in North America, and is syndicated worldwide to an estimated 50 million viewers.

Jerboa Jewellery was founded by Victoria Barker in 2010 with a focus on opulent statement pieces. Victoria believes that jewellery is art and her designs are art to be worn.

Arabian, Asian and Oriental influences can be seen in the Jerboa Jewellery collections which combine Eastern influences with contemporary high-fashion. Jerboa has exhibited at London Fashion Week, London Jewellery Week and is collaborating with womenswear brand FABRYAN this September to produce a range of jewellery for their SS14 collection.

Victoria is now working on her third collection which she says will be inspired by ‘deserts, mountains and surrealism with a strong emphasis on an East meets West theme’.

The collection will include bespoke bridal jewellery, contemporary Indian wedding jewellery, and smaller daywear jewellery fusing British references with Eastern aesthetics. Rose gold, diamonds and platinum will also be featured for the first time.
