The California based fake snow experts bring a White Christmas to New York City for the city’s annual ‘Christmas in August’ event.

Online PR News – 28-August-2013 – New York, NY – MagicSnow, a Los Angeles-based fake snow FX designer, has recently been called upon to provide a flurry of fake snow to the Radio City “Christmas in August” event in New York City. The event transformed New York’s Radio City Music Hall into a winter-themed wonderland featuring detailed ice sculptures, Santa Claus, and high-kicking entertainment from The Rockettes. Integral to this event’s success was the winter snow that had to appear in the middle of summer.

MagicSnow is well known for supplying faux snow for some of the most famous companies in the world, including Universal Studios Hollywood, Starbucks Coffee Company, and The Grove in Los Angeles. MagicSnowcreated a realistic White Christmas landscape, as well as provided The Rockettes with fake snow machines that would be used to transform New York City locations into the Christmas spirit. The arrival of an early White Christmas brought some much needed chill to the heat waves hitting New York, with average summer temperatures running up into the 90’s.

Over the years, MagicSnow has become one of the top fake snow artists in the world, providing realistic and imaginative winter landscapes to locations across the world. MagicSnow has years of experience working with a variety of venues both indoor and outdoor, and any variety of climate limitations. MagicSnow was honored to make the fake snow for the New York City ‘Christmas in August’ event.
