Online PR News – 27-August-2013 – Fairfax, CA – ARMY (Fritzmaurice Williams) was born and raised on St. Croix, Virgin Islands. He began his musical journey at the age of five as a member of the youth choir at the church his family attended. Little did he know that he was laying the foundation for what would become a very promising musical career. Determined to explore a variety of styles, he learned to play the saxophone, became a member of a jazz band and sang in various local bands. After relocating to the New York City, completing his education, and serving in the US Army (which is how he got his name), Army returned home and became deeply involved in the local reggae scene.
DANNY-I is a singer from St. Croix who has a remarkably distinctive voice. Sweet melodies capped with strong lyrics are what you can expect to hear when listening to the music of Danny-I. Danny-I first surfaced contributing four selections to the Eastbound II compilation. Since that time, his debut album Jah Fury was released by Iyah Ites Records. Danny I also sang one song on the 2003 CD Wake Up Call, and one on Talkin' Roots II, as well as having voiced a track on the Sane Kry riddim and several selections on Eastbound III. 2007 saw the release of his second full length album Unchangeable.
MISAEL GONZALEZ Attracting audiences of all ages with his original compositions. Misael Gonzalez is currently one of the best known Puerto Rican reggae artist both nationally and internationally. He has released three albums as the singer and composer for the band Yerba Bruja, with whom he has traveled throughout the island and abroad. In addition, Misael has always collaborated with numerous local bands as vocalist, drummer, producer and songwriter, helping in the upkeeping of this musical genre and uplifting the quality of Reggae music in Puerto Rico.
