Online PR News – 27-August-2013 – Los Angeles, CA – Three displays created by Bay Cities have been selected as finalists in the Design of the Times Competition hosted by the Path to Purchase Institute. In October 2012, Bay Cities was honored to bring back two awards from the Design of the Times competition and this continued a tradition of winning designs every year. Our structure and design for a Nintendo Mariokart launch pad won bronze and our design for a Katy Perry end cap won Bay Cities a gold award. This year’s awards show will be held on October 9th in Chicago, Illinois.
“Our team always focuses on designing and producing quality work for our clients and this type of industry recognition for superior design keeps us incredibly motivated to continue to exceed expectations in what we deliver,” Creative Director, Allan Yue proudly states.
In September 2012, Bay Cities entered 13 displays into the West Coast POP (Point of Purchase) Show and won awards for 10 displays including winning “Best Design Original Artwork in Show” for our Nintendo floor display. In March 2013, Bay Cities was awarded Gold at the OMA Awards held in Las Vegas, Nevada for our Nintendo Mario floor display. The West Coast POP Show and Outstanding Merchandising Achievement Awards (OMA) are sponsored by the Point of Purchase Advertising International (POPAI), an international trade association for the marketing at retail industry. Our creative and marketing team is excited every year to participate in these well-known industry competitions.
