Stevens-Henager College has decided to offer the no-charge GED® Tutoring program at its Boise campus in Idaho. Candidates interested in this GED tutoring program have to meet the Admissions Consultant, who will take them through the admission process to make sure that the program caters to their specific needs.
Online PR News – 15-June-2010 – – Boise, ID – After introducing no-charge General Educational Development (GED®) tutoring at its Salt Lake City, Utah campus, Stevens-Henager College has decided to offer this program to students at the Boise campus in Idaho as well.
All candidates who are interested in pursuing a degree at Stevens-Henager College, but do not have the pre-requisites, are eligible for the tutoring program.
GED is an alternative credential for those who are not high school graduates. It involves taking a set of tests that judge high school-level skills and knowledge of candidates. Once candidates pass these tests, they are awarded a certificate which is considered equivalent to a high school diploma.
Taking note of the fact that candidates appearing for GED tests may benefit from focused coaching, Stevens-Henager College has decided to offer tutoring to them at its newest facility in Boise at no charge.
The enrollment procedure is quite simple. Candidates have to meet with the Admissions Consultant, who will explain the admission process to them and make sure the program caters to their specific needs. Before the tutoring starts, they will be given a pretest to judge areas that need concentration.
To provide maximum flexibility to students, Stevens-Henager College hasn’t scheduled any specific time for tutoring. Students are welcome to attend tutoring at their own convenience. The college has also decided not to set any timeframe within which to complete coaching. Students can remain in coaching so long as they feel the need.
Once they are ready to take the GED tests, candidates need to finish the admissions process and commit to attending Stevens-Henager College. The college will then arrange for them to take the test at a nearby facility. All aspiring Stevens-Henager College students will be required to take the test at the same center.
