In just five and a half weeks, WLJS News anchor Ed Moore III will host a special broadcast in September concerning the gay community. For the live special, Moore reports that he will invite those who identify themselves as gay, lesbian or bisexual individuals.
Online PR News – 21-August-2013 – Jacksonville, Alabama – Northeast Alabama broadcaster Ed Moore III is preparing for what is expected to be a one of a kind special that will focus on the LGBT community.
On September 28, Moore will host a program with a panel of guests that will discuss the struggles of growing up as gay, lesbian, bisexual or questioning, including insight on secretive gay and bisexual lifestyles, high profile cases of hate crimes against gay people, being gay in the world of sports, as well as the United States Supreme Court decisions this summer concerning same-sex marriage.
This is the first time Moore, who turned 21 August 5, has independently covered human sexuality for WLJS since the beginning of his tenure at the station over two years ago.
“Being Gay: Stories Told From The Front Line” will air live on September 28 at 8 P.M. Central Time / 9 P.M. Eastern. Northeast Alabama listeners may tune into 91.9 FM. The broadcast will also air live online at www.wljsnews.weebly.com.
