Online PR News – 09-August-2013 – Los Angeles, CA – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

This Isn’t Glee Club…This is Greek Warfare.

HOLLYWOOD, CA, July 31, 2013 – Packed with stunning vocals, sexy dance moves and edgy comedy, award winning director, Scott Brown (Larry King Now, Blue Movies) teams with executive producers Anna Roberts and Shin Shimosawa (The Following, The Grudge) to bring the web Destroy the Alpha Gammas: an original musical series that explodes with top 40 hits, love triangles and cat fights- set in the wild world of sororities.

Launching its trailer just last week, the independently produced web series Destroy the Alpha Gammas has already managed to land on the front page of Tubefilter, where it is being described as “a collegiate musical with an attitude.”

"The energy and fun we had every day on set creating this series is something that I believe comes through in this story. It has been a privilege and a joy to work with this enthusiastic and dedicated team," Brown states. "DAG is an exciting, funny, and ultimately emotional musical comedy that strives to go beyond the preconceptions of the
Greek system to find something innately human in each of the characters."

Written by and starring pop singer/actress Leah McKendrick, DAG showcases a stellar cast of triple threat performers including Jon Robert Hall (Glee), Lindsey Morgan (Daytime Emmy Nominee: General Hospital) and Sara Fletcher (Comedy Central’s Secret Girlfriend). Hollywood veterans Dennis Haskins (Saved by the Bell) and Judy Norton (The Walton’s) make can’t-miss cameos as well!

The storyline follows two rival sororities endeavoring to destroy each other’s lives- and ultimately brings to light the volatility of love, the value of friendship and the price of revenge.

Like his previous acclaimed series Blue Movies and Asylum, which earned Brown a Streamy Award nomination and a second season with BET digital respectively, Destroy the Alpha Gammas has hit the festival circuit with a splash and hopes it is met with similar enthusiasm by the web community this fall. Despite it’s yet-to-be-released status, DAG is the recipient of Indie Fest Awards for Internet Programming and Leading Actress (Leah McKendrick). Destroy the Alpha Gammas is gunning to be more than just a webseries, but rather an unforgettable musical event.

After viewing the trailer, premier new media news outlet Tubefilter reveals that they are “expecting the opening scene of West Side Story mixed with The House Bunny,” and tells readers to “brace [themselves]–it’s about to get catty in here.”

The series trailer is available to view at, with the premiere episode debuting on the DAG

YouTube Channel,, Wednesday August 21, 2013 and continuing for 6 weeks for a total of 7 episodes in its season.
