Orem, Utah, June 11, 2010 – Paraben Corporation (http://www.paraben.com/), a leader in the digital forensics industry, announces the release of E-mail Examiner version 6.0. Since its first release in 2001; E-mail Examiner (EMX) has been a favorite tool of digital forensic investigators for both corporate and law-enforcement applications. Version 6 of EMX includes several enhancements, primary of which is the new Batch Processing Wizard. This new wizard will allow investigators to take archives and export them automatically into a variety of mail formats to include PST.
Key Features of E-mail Examiner v6.0 include:
• New User Interface
• New OST Support
• New support for Windows 7 x64 & Vista x64
• New Batch Processing Wizard
• New Multi-threading
• New Case Manager
• New Searching with Logical Expressions
• New Dongle License Option
The new user interface parallels with the interface used in Paraben’s comprehensive tool for computer hard drive forensics; P2 Commander. This integration of interfaces provides a seamless shift between the two programs while being used in conjunction or transitioning from EMX to the full-time use of P2 Commander.
