AccruePartners Launches the First Annual Accrue’s Got Talent
Benefiting Charlotte’s Non-Profits

Online PR News – 07-August-2013 – Charlotte, NC – AccruePartners, a professional services Staffing and Executive Search firm, offering Temporary-to-Hire, Contract, Direct-Hire and Executive Search staffing solutions is pleased to announce The Foundation For Tomorrow (TFFT) as the winner of the first annual Accrue’s Got Talent event!

“We are so thrilled to have been a part of the first ever Accrue’s Got Talent event! The impact this seamless collaboration had on The Foundation For Tomorrow is immeasurable,” said Kaitlin Rogers, Director of Communications and Donor Development. “These efforts have raised the organization's level of sophistication and given our donors a sense of confidence. We are humbled by the generosity and grateful for the donation of time, talent and teamwork by Jeff Waynick, Victoria Oljeski and the entire AccruePartners team.”

Accrue’s Got Talent is a 72-hour, work-around-the-clock event during which carefully assigned team compete to provide needed and often difficult to acquire services with limited budgets to nonprofit organizations on a pro bono basis. For this year’s event, a total of nine applications were received from nonprofit agencies in the Charlotte Region and AccruePartners narrowed it down to three final participants: Samaritan’s Feet, The Foundation For Tomorrow and Choose Generation.

“Not only did this event deliver an invaluable service to us, it provoked an unexpected sense of community between all parties involved. We could not have asked for better candidates who fit right into our organization’s culture,” said Nan Gray, VP of Development and Communication at Samaritan’s Feet.

Each team, consisting of top talent hand-picked by AccruePartners, dedicated their time and effort to deliver services for each of the organizations, including a financial analysis and infographic; strategic legwork for an anniversary campaign to include photo indexing and the gathering of testimonials; and logo design. Upon completion, these three projects were presented to a panel of judges who combined their expertise to choose the winning team.

“I was honored to be chosen as a judge the first annual Accrue's Got Talent event,” stated Tom Lane, COO and Partner at Center for Intentional Leadership. “Overall, I was excited about the willingness of talent as well as AccruePartners' eagerness to give back to the community.”

“This event was an exceptional opportunity for us to give back to the local community and showcase our array of top talent in the Charlotte area. In addition, this was dually beneficial to our candidates – allowing them to step up and showcase their talent,” states Amy Pack, Principal Partner of AccruePartners. “We are blown away by the work that was developed and excited at how this event brought the community together as not only were projects completed but it brought awareness to the organizations”.
