Waterford Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Lori Woll to the Director of Sales position for the renowned 285-room Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa, located in Groton, CT.

Woll previously served as Director of Catering for the Mystic Marriott from 2006 to 2009. The Mystic Marriott is managed by Waterford Hotel Group, a national hotel and convention center management firm.

Woll has more than fifteen years of valuable experience in both hotel and restaurant management. As Director of Sales for the Mystic Marriott, Woll will assume responsibility of the sales and marketing functions of the hotel and actively seek out new accounts, while continuing to grow existing client relationships. The Director of Sales will also be dedicated to consistency in meeting sales goals and exceeding the expectations of guests and clients.

Woll began her career in hospitality as the restaurant manager of the Ethan Allen Inn located in Danbury, CT. She has since held numerous management titles in various areas of the hospitality business including several AAA Four Diamond hotels. Her previous positions include General Manager at Bistro on the Green in Guilford, CT, Catering Sales Manager for the Grassy Hill Country Club in Orange, CT, and Omni Hotels in New Haven, CT. Most recently, she held the title of Director of Sales for the Saybrook Point Inn & Spa in Old Saybrook, CT.

Woll is a graduate of Trinity College in Burlington, VT, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Psychology. She is also currently affiliated with several organizations in the tourism industry including NEIRA and the Westfield and Connecticut River Valley MPI chapters, and serves as Vice President of the Old Saybrook Chamber of Commerce. Woll is a resident of Old Saybrook, CT.
