Father's Day is set to be busiest yet for Katies Cards
Online PR News – 10-June-2010 – – UK based ecards creator Katies Cards has stated it is expecting one of its busiest – if not its busiest – Father’s Days since the company began in 2007. Nick Hellman, who runs the company with his wife Katie commented: “Over the last three years we’ve seen a steady increase in the number of people downloading Father’s Day ecards. Often, people will subscribe to us in order to send a Father’s Day card, and then use us to send ecards for dozens of ecards for other occasions throughout the year.”
The company has a selection of Fathers Day ecards to choose from, and while traditional cards are still popular, Nick says that people feel ecards are particularly appropriate for this occasion; “I think Father’s Day may not be treated in the same way as other occasions – such as weddings or birthdays, and that receiving an ecard is something that Dads like – especially the tech savvy ones that spend a lot of time on the net. The other advantage is that they do not rely on the post, and so always get there on time.”
Katies Cards now have subscribers all around the world, who send ecards for a wide variety of different occasions – including wedding days, St. Patrick’s Day, Hanukkah, July the 4th, Thanksgiving and many others. The service allows subscribers to add their own message at the end of the ecard, which is lovingly animated in Flash and enhanced with unique musical compositions. A subscription to Katies Cards last for 12 months and provides access to all the products.
