Dr Kathleen A. Hartford is leading an effort to educate parents and children in the habits of healthy living.
Online PR News – 08-June-2010 – – There is a growing concern amongst both parents and medical professionals these days that the number of children and teenagers suffering from what are traditionally adult health complaints is increasing. Dr Kathleen Hartford, a health and wellness expert is hoping to help halt this alarming trend by educating parents how to help their children lead healthier lives.
Through her Sister Support Philanthropic Organization, Dr. Hartford has created the group "Parents for Healthy Children" and will be presenting seminars entitled "Healthy Children, Responsible Parents" to help promote the message and the work of the group.
The seminar will be presented sometime this summer as a part of the Ladies Hospital Aid Society's Health and Wellness series. The series is being presented this summer at the LHAS Auditorium at UPMC Montefiore in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Kathleen's presentation will last for two hours and refreshments, in addition to attendance itself, will be provided free of charge.
Dr. Hartford has been an integrated health care practitioner for more than twenty years and she practiced in Africa and all over the United States before returning to her current home base in Pennsylvania.
