New video from High Position demonstrates the benefits of Conversion Rate Optimisation for commercial website owners.
Online PR News – 08-June-2010 – – High Position, one of Europe’s leading seo and digital marketing firms, has released a new video explaining how conversion rate optimisation works. The video, which was created using Flash, seeks to put the spotlight on one of the most important aspects of owning a commercial website.
The animated video depicts a beekeeper who is unable to attract bees to his garden. Enlisting the helping of High Position (‘the CRO company’), the man has his garden re-arranged. Soon the bees flock to his prettified garden and his hive is brim with happy bees.
In the real-world equivalent, particular aspects of a website are identified and rigorous A/B testing applied to determine which website layout works best. While most businesses use it to increase conversions, many also use it to generate more enquiries. Using advanced software, results are tracked with a high degree of accuracy.
Tom Bowden, Head of CRO at High Position, commented: “Conversion Rate Optimisation might sound a little complex, but in fact it is a methodical testing of a site so that it performs as well as possible. If you take the example of an eCommerce website, it normally has a conversion rate of at least 2.2% - we aim for 5%. 100% plus increases of this kind are not uncommon. All our results are measurable so our clients know exactly how effective CRO has been. Our new video demonstrates this process.”
As one of the most in-demand services offered by the pan-European firm, the CRO video was developed to help people who were less aware of the service understand the advantages of the process. Several members of the High Position team were involved in developing the video concept, with the animation generated by Craig Hindmarsh and the music and sound effects created by Seamus Bowman.
The new Conversion Rate Optimisation video is now available to watch on YouTube.
