Racana Wins the Global Innovation Award at Nokia Siemens Networks’ Israel Innovation Competition

Company’s personalized content recommendation and monetization solution is recognized for its ability to open new revenue streams for mobile operators

Nokia Siemens Networks launched its Israel Innovation Competition with the aim of identifying technology innovations to complement its Liquid Applications solution. Liquid Applications redefines the mobile broadband experience at the edge of the mobile network: applications, services and content are brought inside a base station close to the mobile subscriber. The subscriber is thus exposed to real-time network data, which provides a fresh and exciting experience that is personal, relevant and local.

The competition was judged by experts from Nokia Siemens Networks, representatives from Intel Capital, Cellcom Israel, the Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute and Amos Talmor. Mr. Talmor is an experienced angel investor who is involved with many emerging technology companies in Israel, including Saguna Networks and Kenshoo.

Racana has developed a cloud-based solution for the personalization of content recommendations for mobile users.
