Online PR News – 02-July-2013 – Oklahoma City, OK – Drivers spoke and TBS Factoring Service LLC listened. TBS, a leading provider of simple and flexible cash-flow solutions for independent truckers, announced today it is expanding its fuel advance program to six days a week, including Saturdays.
Truckers and trucking companies no longer have to be in a bind over a weekend due to a lack of funds for fuel. TBS will advance up to 50 percent toward the purchase of fuel on any load it factors..
“In a recent customer service survey, drivers expressed the challenges of obtaining fuel advances from brokers on weekends,” said Wood Kaufman, TBS founder and CEO. “We understand that business doesn’t come to a sudden stop on Friday. We are a family owned business whose mission is to support motor carriers and their families in this 24/7 world.”
Here’s how it works: Drivers need only to sign an advance program agreement, fax an advance request to TBS with a copy of the rate sheet and bill of lading. Upon approval, TBS will put the advance money on a TBS Fuel Card . For Saturday fuel advances, requests can be faxed or emailed between 8 a.m. and noon.
TBS’ upgraded fuel advance program also has been streamlined for faster processing and funding. Drivers can receive a discount by sending advance paperwork via a dedicated fax number, email address or trip document scanning inbox.
