Local full production digital media company, Bonnemaison Inc., of Baltimore, Maryland was honored on June 23, 2013 with an Emmy Award in the category of Instructional/Informational Program/Special for a groundbreaking series "Internet Safety 101" that aired on PBS.
Online PR News – 29-June-2013 – Baltimore, Maryland – In a celebration of excellence in television on June 15th, the National Capitol/Chesapeake Bay Emmy Awards presented Mari Bonnemaison, Brooks Moore, Marisa Arbona-Ruiz, and Donna Rice Hughes with the Emmy Award, under the category of Instructional/Informational Program/Special, for producing a groundbreaking series aired on PBS, "Internet Safety 101". Created by Donna Rice Hughes for the organization "Enough is Enough." Bonnemaison was the chosen company to produce this special. The goal of the three, one-hour television series was to protect children from internet pornography predators. The producers went undercover with the FBI, featuring interviews of a teenage girl on the brink of death rescued from a dungeon, her perpetrator in jail, several teenagers addicted to pornography, as well as, law enforcement officials and doctors presenting solutions to the problem.
