Online PR News – 27-June-2013 – London – London, UK - Chupamobile, the leading marketplace for buying and selling App Source Code, just announced that it has raised new funding from U.S and European Angel Investors. This $400,000 round follows the first seed round from Xandas New Media Ventures headed by Fabio Pezzotti.
Co-founder and CEO Stefano Argiolas says: "We have covered a lot of ground in the past 12 months, better understood our customers and publisher’s needs, built strong relationships with them and boosted the catalogue to become the leading player in the market. Our revenues are doubling each quarter and we clearly see the direction to take now. This is why we have decided to accelerate our investments and make this round."
The round includes, among others, a well known Angel Investor from Boston, U.S., Semyon Dukach, who says: "I invested in the Company because I liked the strong team and their clear vision, as well as the impressive user growth already achieved with limited resources."
“Chupamobile’s goal is to make as fast and as efficient as possible developing an App for iPhone or Android. Building apps using ready-made and fully tested App Source Code is a powerful strategy. All the features are already there, ready to be used in your App project, this saves you time and money” says Paolo De Santis, co-founder of Chupamobile.com. "Furthermore, we are providing an increasingly important source of revenues for mobile developers who want to market and distribute part of their already built source code: some of them are making tens of thousands of dollars per month already."
The Company plans to invest the proceeds in enhancing platform features and services, marketing and customer support. The vision is to expand Chupamobile “App Source Code Marketplace” into the best platform for Mobile Developers to buy, sell and customize app components and full apps.
