Online PR News – 27-June-2013 – PHILADELPHIA< PA – The "City of Brotherly Love" will be festive this weekend as the Multicultural Festival/Concert of Colors kicks off on Sunday, June 30, 2013 in Fairmount Park (near the Mann Music Center). The event takes place from 10am to 8pm.

This highly anticipated event features artists from around the country and throughout the Caribbean. June is National Caribbean American Heritage month and Caribbean heritage and culture will be celebrated with food, art, vendors and music from a variety of genres. Soca, reggae, zouk, salsa, African, zompa, hip hop, R&B and gospel music will be highlighted.

The event is a comprised of two components - a festival and a concert and attendees may attend the festival or the concert or both. A DJ, dance group, martial arts group, steel pan soloist and orchestra, children's parade and more kick off the festival starting at 10 am. After the festival, the concert begins as Gyptian, Denise "Saucy Wow" Belfon, Khari Kill, Rafiya, Benjai, Roy Cape & The Allstars Band, Blaxx, Ronnie Homer & Nikita hit the stage.
