Serenity Vista Addiction & Alcoholism Treatment Center of Boquete, Panama announces a new recovery program track designed primarily for those addicted to cocaine and crack-cocaine
Online PR News – 27-June-2013 – Los Angeles/California – Having recently expanded their original British Columbia, Canada treatment facility into the breathtaking surroundings of Boquete, Panama, Serenity Vista Rehabilitation Center has announced a newly developed and clinically enhanced addiction treatment track designed specifically for those struggling with addiction to cocaine and crack-cocaine. The announcement comes in the midst of various service based expansions in an effort to meet the growing epidemic of drug abuse worldwide.
The new Cocaine/Crack-Cocaine Treatment track focuses on certain recovery elements prevalent more so with these types of addicts. Says executive director, John Derry, "People with addiction to cocaine, and even more so to crack-cocaine, suffer from very strong euphoric recall and experience an enormously high rate of relapse due to the long term effects involving the brain's pleasure center receptor and pathways." The program involves many of the facility's standard recovery components but adds an element of holistic avenues in order to promote the brain's more rapid restoration of a healthy balance of neuro-chemicals such as dopamine and norepinephrine. In addition, since crack-cocaine addicts typically lead the ranks in terms of addicts least capable of enjoying life's pleasure's in a drug-free state, this program track encourages a higher level of adrenalin stimulating activities such as sailing, rock climbing, surfing, and sea kayaking.
Mr. Derry and his dedicated leadership team have been working with drug addicts and alcoholics on a clinical level for just under 30 years. The Serenity Vista program was created by him along with a team of clinicians in a manner that is designed to provide a private, holistic, executive-level environment while charging substantially less than most of today's luxuriously appointed treatment centers. The program provides rehabilitation services to men and women ages 18 up and costs $5,000 (US) per month.
Says Mr Derry in closing, "Having worked closely with many hundreds of addicts and alcoholics, we are able to integrate specific components based upon varied traits and nuances prevalent in the client's mind and patterns of use, and this is something which only develops through years of experiential clinical practice."
