The JRN Institute of Aviation Technology signed a memorandum of understanding with Deccan Charters- The founder of first low cost airlines, for allowing its students to receive technical training on different aeroplanes and helicopters of Deccan Charters.
Online PR News – 21-June-2013 – New Delhi – The JRN Institute of Aviation Technology signed a memorandum of understanding with Deccan Charters- The founder of first low cost airlines, for allowing its students to receive technical training on different aeroplanes and helicopters of Deccan Charters. The Agreement will also allow the students of JRN Institute of Aviation Technology to get exposure to aircraft maintenance facilities of Deccan across the country.
Speaking at the occasion Chairman JK Sinha said, “We are elated to have this association with Deccan Charters. The training will add greater exposure and experience to our students and they will now be able to avail technical facilities for being a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) after receiving live training on aeroplanes and helicopters of Deccan Charters. This would enhance technical skills in students and made them Industry ready as they would get trained on aircraft in flying condition.”
The day was very interactive and informative. The delegation visited the campus, examined laboratories, machineries, equipment and library. They also had a detailed discussion with faculties about the methodology used for teaching the students. Three year ab-initio training makes a student eligible to acquire basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License; however with additional one year training with Deccan Charters will make them eligible to acquire Type Rated License on the aircraft and helicopters available with Deccan Charters. The demands of Type Rated Engineers are always high in the industry and are highly paid compare to basic license holders.
