Advanced Media Design Systems (AMDS) was recently awarded the audio visual (AV) component of the Joint Strike Fighter Air Force/Navy/Marine Squad Ops located on Eglin Air Force Base, FL.

Online PR News – 03-June-2010 – – Advanced Media Design Systems (AMDS) was recently awarded the audio visual (AV) component of the Joint Strike Fighter Air Force/Navy/Marine Squad Ops located on Eglin Air Force Base, FL. The training facility is expected to instruct over 500 F-35 pilots a year from the Air Force, Navy, Marines and at least eight other countries. AMDS will be renovating a hanger including over 45 rooms with new AV control systems and equipment. The rooms to be renovated will include Main Briefing, Small and Large Pilot Briefing Rooms, Conference Rooms, Operation and Scheduling, Life Support Maintenance and Locker Rooms, Security and several small offices. All of the audio visual equipment in these rooms will be controlled locally at the touch of a button. Large plasma displays, Digital DSP and multiple HD Projectors with local PC/DVD-VCR and RF inputs located in each room are planned for convenience. AMDS worked closely with both the US Army Corp of Engineers and Henderson Electrical Company in order to define the audio, video and control side of the systems. The Joint Strike Fighter School is expected to have a completion date of early October 2010.
